The campaign staff at HRC headquarters must be working over time on the spin cycle this evening trying to frame up the results of the Michigan primary in a way that doesn’t make Hillary look like she’s just a tad more popular than the always illuminating choice of ‘other.’
In a move that most reminded me of when John Ashcroft (yet to become the second-worst AG of the Bush administration) ran for the governorship of Missouri and lost – to a dead guy. Ultimately the dead guy’s wife took office for him but still you know that had to sting the ol statue nipple coverer Ashcroft.
Anyway, voters in Michigan spoke loudly this evening when many of them, approximately 236,598 of the, braved snowy conditions to essentially vote for “not her.”
Ouch.
Now I am an adamant believer in the power of human laziness so I cannot help but be impressed that so many went out of their way not to vote for someone but against someone. That, my friends, is real disdain. It’s the kind of disdain Hillary can look forward to in the general election if she somehow manages to win the nomination.

“What we need to do,” he said, “is to amend the Constitution so it’s in God’s standards rather than trying to change God’s standards so it lines up with some contemporary view of how we treat each other and how we treat the family.” – Mike Huckabee, speaking at a campaign event in Michigan Monday night.
There you have it folks, Mike Huckabee has just pretty much told you that he supports turning the U.S. Constitution into some kind of twisted Christian sharia system. I doubt if anyone asked him, but does he realize that this would essentially repeal the 13th Amendment outlawing slavery since that’s one of the economic systems endorsed by the so-called word of his living God.
Idiot.
You know what, let’s all hope there is a God because if this yahoo ends up getting elected we are gonna need all the help we can get.

“Romney also blasted a new energy bill that raised the fuel efficiency standards for cars to 35 miles per gallon, saying it was an “anvil” that will weigh down the domestic auto industry.” – CNN
Please, please tell me that this nitwit is not going to be our next president. Because, if he is, I think we should all get ready for more fun exciting tours of exotic desert locales where we can meet new and interesting people – and shoot them.
Also (if he makes it that far) let’s see how he gets hammered with this remark in the California primary.
